OnePlus Open, the highly anticipated foldable smartphone from OnePlus, has finally made its debut in India. This is the company’s first foray into the foldable smartphone market. The device is actually the global version of the Oppo Find N3 foldable phone, which was launched in China just last week.

In terms of specifications, the OnePlus Open boasts a large 7.82-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate and Ultra-Thin Glass protection. It also features a secondary cover display measuring 6.31 inches with a 10-120Hz refresh rate. Both displays offer a peak brightness of 2800 nits.
The device is powered the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. It runs on Android 13 with the company’s OxygenOS 3.2 on top. OnePlus promises four years of Android updates and five years of security updates for the device.
In the camera department, the OnePlus Open sports a triple camera setup at the back, including a 48MP Sony LYT-T808 primary sensor with OIS, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 64MP telephoto lens with 6X optical zoom. The device also features Hasselblad support, similar to other recent OnePlus flagships.
For selfies, the OnePlus Open offers a 32MP camera on the cover screen and a 20MP camera on the inner display. The device is equipped with a 4,805mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, capable of fully charging the smartphone in just 42 minutes.
