Islamabad United beat Multan Sultans 2 wickets to lift their third-ever PSL title. Islamabad United become the first franchise to win three PSL titles. The Sultans failed for the third-time-running. This is the first time that a franchise (Multan Sultans) has lost three consecutive PSL Finals.
Batting first, Mohammad Rizwan & Co. finished at 159/9 after 20 overs. Usman Khan was the star of the show for Sultans, with a 40-ball 57. He was ably supported the man for the big nights, Iftikhar Ahmed. Ahmed scored a quick-fire 32 off just 20 deliveries.
