Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], December 3 (ANI): Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw declared victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Madhya Pradesh, crossing the halfway mark of 115 seats in the state. Vaishnaw asserted that prominent political figures Digvijaya Singh and Kamalnath are now a thing of the past, and emphasized the country’s focus should be on development.
Vaishnaw expressed confidence in BJP’s success in Rajasthan as well, citing the public’s clear verdict on corruption and law and order issues in the state. Meanwhile, MP Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan credited the double engine BJP government for the party’s success and highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s influential role in the elections.
The BJP’s vigorous campaign, backed the Prime Minister’s leadership, proved effective in securing a victory in Madhya Pradesh. Despite Congress’ promises of freebies, including the ‘Ladli Behna’ scheme, the electorate leaned towards the BJP due to their implementation of social schemes. (ANI)
