Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd, India’s leading sugar and ethanol manufacturing company, announced a consolidated net loss of Rs 122.87 crore in the second quarter of the current fiscal year. This marks an improvement from the net loss of Rs 162.37 crore reported in the same period last year.
The company’s total income declined to Rs 1,163.30 crore from Rs 1,329.99 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, as per a regulatory filing.
Headquartered in Mumbai and part of the Bajaj Group (Kushagra), Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd operates 14 sugar plants in Uttar Pradesh.
