Outage disrupts Peloton’s world-record ride attempt on Thanksgiving Day

Peloton’s live workout is disrupted during the annual 45-minute Turkey Burn Ride.
The Thanksgiving-themed cycling workout was hosted instructor Robin Arzón and aimed to set a Guinness World Record for the largest live cycling class. However, many Peloton users expressed frustration on social media platforms, claiming they were unable to join the session.
Several users reported difficulties accessing the session and encountering issues while attempting to participate in the live ride. Some expressed disappointment and questioned the value of their Peloton membership due to the technical difficulties.
Although Peloton did not immediately respond to requests for comment, they issued an incident report acknowledging the issue and informing users that it was being investigated. The incident was eventually resolved after approximately an hour of disruption. This unexpected incident was a frustrating experience for many Peloton members who eagerly anticipated the live Turkey Burn Ride.
