The second season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) commenced on February 22. Last season’s finalists Mumbai Indians Women (MI-W) and Delhi Capitals Women (DC-W) played the curtain-raiser at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
