Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt has reportedly invested $100 million in Steel Perlot, a startup incubator led Michelle Ritter, who is rumored to be his girlfriend, according to Forbes. Schmidt, who has been married for over 40 years, serves as the chairman of the company. Steel Perlot manages $450 million and has invested at least $20 million in various companies in the AI, crypto, and payment processing sectors. However, the company faced financial difficulties earlier this year and requested $2.5 million from Schmidt’s family office to cover expenses. Schmidt and Ritter have declined to comment on their relationship. Steel Perlot, Schmidt Futures, and The Schmidt Family Foundation did not respond to requests for comment.
