Shivakumar, Deputy CM of Karnataka, says the voters of Telangana were seeking a change.

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Shivakumar declared on Sunday that the outcome in Telangana is not solely a victory for the Congress party, but rather a triumph for the people of Telangana. Addressing reporters in Hyderabad, Shivakumar emphasized that the voters of Telangana were seeking a change.

Leaders from different states have been involved in Telangana to support the Congress MLAs in winning elections. The people of Telangana have shown their support for the establishment of the state and have expressed their gratitude to Sonia Gandhi, stated Shivakumar.

Reacting to this, the BJP Karnataka President BY Vijayendra stated that there is a wave in favor of the saffron party sweeping the country. Speaking in New Delhi, he asserted, “People want PM Modi to be re-elected as Prime Minister. The BJP will secure a majority in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. People prioritize national security over guarantee schemes, which are designed to seize power and gradually destroy the country.”

Former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa in Bengaluru emphasized that the BJP is poised to regain power in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, with the party leading in Chhattisgarh. This outcome is expected to sideline the Congress party.
