Salman Khan’s film ‘Tiger 3’ has achieved a major milestone becoming the biggest opening of his career. The film raked in Rs 43 crore in Hindi on its release day, making it the highest Diwali day collection ever for the actor.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, ‘Tiger 3’ marks Salman Khan’s biggest opener to date, surpassing his previous hits like ‘Bharat’ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. The film, which is the third installment of the Tiger franchise and part of the YRF Spy Universe, also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
Despite the competitive release date on Diwali, ‘Tiger 3’ managed to do great business, netting a total of Rs 44.50 crore on its opening day. The film also features cameo appearances Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan, adding to its star-studded lineup.
Director Maneesh Sharma helmed ‘Tiger 3’, which follows the successful formula of the previous two films in the franchise, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. Salman Khan revealed that the bike chasing scene was the most challenging part of the shoot, and expressed his excitement about the dance track, “Leke Prabhu Ka Naam” in the film.
The actor emphasized that ‘Tiger 3’ is a more personal and emotional story, and with its release on Diwali day, he hopes audiences will enjoy the film with their families in theaters.
With its impressive box office performance and star-studded cast, ‘Tiger 3’ has solidified Salman Khan’s position as a top Bollywood actor and continues the successful run of the Tiger franchise.
