Total sales of Tata Motors declined 1.73% to 74,172 units in November.

Tata Motors reported a 1.73% decline in global sales, with 74,172 units sold in November 2023 compared to 75,478 units in the same month last year. Domestic sales were at 72,647 units, a 1% decrease from 73,467 units in November 2022, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing.

Passenger vehicle sales, including electric vehicles, were at 46,143 units, down 1% from 46,425 units in the year-ago month. However, in the domestic market, PV sales, including EVs, saw a slight increase to 46,068 units as opposed to 46,037 units in November 2022. Additionally, sales of passenger EVs in the domestic market saw a 7% jump, with 4761 units sold, compared to 4451 units in the same month last year.

Commercial vehicle sales for November 2023 were at 28,029 units, a 4% decline from 29,053 units in the previous year. Domestic CV sales also decreased 3%, with 26,579 units sold compared to 27,430 units in November 2022.
