TVS Motor Company’s total dispatches saw a 31 per cent increase in November 2023, reaching 3,64,231 units compared to the 2,77,123 units sold in November 2022, according to a statement from the company.
In terms of two-wheelers, sales reached 3,52,103 units in November 2023, up 34 per cent from the same month in 2022, which saw 2,63,642 units sold. Domestic two-wheeler sales grew 50 per cent, reaching 2,87,017 units compared to 1,91,730 units in November 2022. Motorcycle sales posted a 19 per cent growth, with 1,72,836 units sold in November 2023, up from 1,45,006 units in November 2022. Scooter sales also saw a significant increase, reaching 1,35,749 units compared to 83,679 units in the year-ago month, a jump of 62 per cent.
TVS Motor Co reported that it sold 16,782 units of the iQube electric scooter in November 2023, compared to 10,056 units a year ago. Three-wheeler sales, however, decreased to 12,128 units in November 2023 from 13,481 units in November 2022.
Total exports for November 2023 were lower at 75,203 units compared to 84,134 units in the same month the previous year, according to the company.
