New Delhi Infrastructure developer, Welspun Enterprises Ltd (WEL), has reported a 48.1 per cent drop in consolidated profit to Rs 69.01 crore for the September quarter. This decline comes as the company posted a consolidated profit of Rs 132.98 crore in the same period the previous year, according to a filing to the BSE.
Despite the profit drop, WEL experienced an increase in consolidated income to Rs 692.65 crore in the July-September period, up from Rs 552.92 crore in the year-ago period.
WEL specializes in the development and operations of roads and highways, as well as water and wastewater projects across various public-private partnership (PPP) models in both rural and urban areas of the country.
